Hope your holidays were wonderful. How many of you asked for gift cards from your LYS? How many of you got one? If you bought yarn or started a new project over Christmas raise your hand. Both of mine are raised! Let us know what you're working on.
Knitting Daily sent an e-mail out about their new TV program. Its website has many free patterns and lots of great information. (KnittingDaily.com and KnittingDailyTV.com). You've got to check them out. I'll add them to "Links We Love". It's well worth becoming a member (free) for the great patterns and knitting tips.
I'm looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Thursday. Have you missed getting together as much as I have? As wonderful as this time of year is, I'm always ready to get back to routine. I'll be bringing a finished (well, almost...just need to steam it) prayer shawl, another on the needles as well as a purse I knitted over Christmas and the turquoise shawl. Woo hoo!

Thanks for keeping up and adding to our space, oh fearless leader of the needles.
Ladies,I have sent our first out of state shawl and spread our ministries beyond our local realms. So wonderful to be able to offer this project of love and caring out to others in need of prayer and comfort. This is what it all about and I am thankful to be a part of it.
I've started my first prayer shawl. The homespun yarn is great. I'll be back at CC in another week.
